Films From The Internet

For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

Above and Beyond: Above and Beyond is a gripping recount of the story of the men who dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima. The movie puts the burden of what they did in perspective though the eyes of these men. Stars Robert Taylor, Eleanor Parker, James Whitmore, and Jim Backus. (1952 Military)

Shining Through: The movie is set in WWII. Linda Voss is a legal secretary with a Jewish relative in Germany. She figures out her boss is working for the government on covert operations. She wants to help, and she speaks German. She eventually gets an assignment to go undercover in Germany. What will her fate be?

Hook, Line & Sinker: Conceivably ludicrous premise about allegedly dying guy who runs up one hundred thousand in credit card debt. Even Lewis fans can be bored. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Peter Lawford, Anne Francis, Pedro Gonzalez-Gonzalez, Jimmy Miller, and Kathleen Freeman. (91 minutes, 1951)

Foolish: Part drama, part comedy, part performance film, total catastrophe. Tale hubs around a man who feels he is not utilizing his abilities wisely and tossing away his potential. Alas, nothing is even remotely funny. The title affirms it all. Cast includes Eddie Griffin, Master P, Amy Petersen, Frank Sivero, Daphnee Lynn Duplaix, Jonathan Banks, Andrew Dice Clay, Marla Gibbs, Bill Nunn, Bill Duke, and Traci Bingham. (96 minutes, 1999)

Dragnet: When examining fierce fighting, Sgt. Friday and Officer Frank Smith set out to solve a brutal murder. A bookie by the name of Miller Starkie has been killed. They aggressively pursue the case as they try to find the killers. Cast includes Jack Webb, Ben Alexander, Richard Boone, Ann Robinson, Stacy Harris, Virginia Gregg, and Dennis Weaver. (89 minutes, 1954)

Bugsy: Beatty gives the most bizarre behavior of his occupation as Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, the fabled crackpot gangster who helped develop Las Vegas. Long however well-informed story manages to avoid gangster stereotypes. Beatty and Bening set off kindles together just as they did in genuine life, and a hefty aiding cast fleshes out James Toback's knowledgeable script. Keitel, cast as Mickey Cohen, played Siegel in the Television film The Virigina Tale Tale. Cast includes Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Harvey Keitel, Ben Kingsley, Elliott Gould, Joe Mantegna, Bill Graham, and Debrah Farentino. (135 minutes, 1991)

Straight to Hell: "Self-indulgent" is an understated way of explaining this spaghetti Western spoof, written by cult controller Cox and costar Impolite. Has the insistent air of a hip in-wisecrack, with the exception of that it isn't ludicrous. Cast includes Sly Richardson, Joe Strummer, Dick Offensive, Courtney Love, Dennis Basket, and Jim Jarmusch. (86 minutes, 1987)

Saw: Two men are trapped in a room. Both men are chained to their half of the room. A story unfolds as these two people are given clues and information about the situation they are in and why. Can they solve the puzzle and get out alive?

The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter: Heart-rending tirade of a deaf mute's desolate planet, and how he helps a teen gal battling to find herself. Authentic adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel, set in the Large South, aids from moving behaviors-containing Arkin, Locke whose debut film this was, and joke performer McCann, in a revelatory change-of-pace part as Arkin's siI11ple-minded mute buddy. Cast includes Alan Arkin, Sondra Locke, Laurinda Barrett, Stacy Keach, Jr., Ditch McCann, Biff McGuire, Percy Rodriguez, Cicely Tyson, and Jackie Marlowe. (125 minutes, 1968)

Remember, be creative and use phrases like "Download Music And Movies". If that phrase gets you nowhere, try another phrase. See if "Downloading Music" gets a better result.
