How to Lose Weight Quickly

By Curt Joel

There are literally scores of people who want to lose weight as quickly as possible and of course, also as safely as possible. However, you need to bear in mind that research has shown that in order to lose weight and keep it off, you should ideally lose no more than one to two pounds of fat per week.

Unfortunately, rather than acknowledge the fact that effective weight loss requires a lifestyle change, many people tend to believe a one-time effort is all that is required, and this is why so many people end up failing.

Effective fat loss plans all do the same basic thing. They manipulate calorie intake so that calories in is less than the total number of calories expended. Most people don't know that one pound of fat equals 3,500 calories.

In order to shed 2lbs. of fat each week, you would need to consume a thousand calories less than you do at present per week. This is of course based on the assumption that your weight is more or less stable.

On the other hand, you can also choose to increase the amount of physical activity you're engaged in order to increase the number of calories your body burns each day. Irrespective of whether you choose to consume fewer calories or whether you decide to increase to the amount of exercise you do, both will result in immediate weight loss.

Unfortunately, these are both simplistic approaches to weight loss that don't take into account other factors like bio-individuality, hormone production, and more.

However, if you're desperate to burn fat, and you're desperate to lose it as quickly as possible without being concerned whether or not you'll manage to keep it off, then the two approaches mentioned above are really all you need to know.

On the other hand, if you are concerned about achieving long term results in that you want to burn fat permanently, then you need to change your current lifestyle.

Those people who manage to lose fat successfully and keep it off permanently, have in fact made exercise part of their daily life rather than seeing it has an unnecessary burden.

If you are looking to shed fat, consider making physical activity and healthy eating a part of your life. You will live longer, be happier, have more confidence, and more. The list of benefits that you will experience is too numerous to list here.

In fact, the list could go on and on.

So if you want to have a better outlook on life, more energy, and more - don't even think about how to lose weight quickly. Think about making a permanent lifestyle change and losing weight forever.
