Your Summer Doesnt Have to End so Quick with a Caribbean Cruise Vacation

By Ric Henderson

The summer months always seem to fly by and before you know it, football season is here and you trade in your flip flops for boots and that is that. No more beach, no more pool, just shoveling the sidewalk and dreaming of the days when the sun will shine again. Well why not bring the summer back a little early with a Caribbean Cruise Vacation?

There is just something about the sunshine that makes everything better. Your spirits get lifted and life just seems better in general. For most people, especially those on the east coast, the end of August signals the end of the fun and sun in the beach. If you want to change that outlook, start planning a Caribbean Cruise and give yourself some to look forward to.

If you have never been to Jamaica, you have no idea what you are missing. It has some of the best Caribbean food around and plenty of rum. A Western Caribbean Cruise Vacation will take you there and also to the ports of Mexico, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. If you like diving, the Grand Caymans have areas that are known around the world to be breathtaking.

If you would like to go somewhere that is not only a great port, but also a great destination vacation spot, try the Easter Caribbean. With the ports of St. Marteen, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico all on the agenda, you may never come back home! Great beaches, great shopping and incredible food will all be on the menu here.

An area that you may not find people flocking to, but is just as beautiful is the South Caribbean. It is not as popular as some of the other spots, but it is not because it lacks in things to do or beauty. This is the ideal Caribbean Cruise Vacation spot for someone that wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle and really sit back and enjoy what this part of the word has to offer.

Once you know where you want to go, the next decision you will have to make is how long of a vacation that you are going to take. There are cruises ranging anywhere from 3 " 8 days or more. If you really want to keep the summer going, split that vacation week up and take a couple of long weekends.

While the short cruises are definitely recommended, you will still want to take at least one long cruise. Being out on the ocean for 7 or more days is something that his hard to describe. You start out with a few days at sea to set the mood and then island hop for a few days and see some of the most majestic beaches and sites in creation. It truly is paradise stuffed into a week.

Dont let the end of August signify the end of your summer. Take a Caribbean Cruise Vacation and end summer when you want it to end, not because the calendar says it has to end. Go from Aruba to St. Marteen and everywhere in between and make that summer last just a few days more.
