What You Should Know About Winning At Roulette

By Brad D Cowen

Equipped yourself with couple of working betting strategies before play this fun roulette game, otherwise you will only find yourself overwhelmed by the changing-odds. Although roulette has nearly 50-50 equal odds which are pretty fair and attractive for casino beginners, you can lose all your fortune without a chance to win it back if you don't know what the game is really about.

You heard people saying that they feel lucky and picking the winning numbers as always. But none of them could tell you that they walk away with big fortune every time they play. Because even though you got the ability to feel the table instinctively, you will lose money if you don't know when to quit. However having a working system is important; you will find your way to win at roulette smartly and effectively with proper betting methods and the right strategy. Let's get started.

If a strategy you use is making you lose more than you win, you shall leave it behind. What's the point of not making you win at majority of the time if it claims so. Time and time again, we see roulette systems fail because most of them rely on sequential probability or conditional probability alone. Few of them are really looking for and studying the systematic patterns. Because roulette is not just a game of probability, it's random and cannot only be determined by previous outcomes.

Martingale system is one of the best well known systems every roulette player will be told about. Like many other systems, it may seem useful sometime. However it's less likely to make you win in practice. The system is pretty simple - double up your previous bet when you lose. Try it on red or black, even or odds, you will find it work in a very short term. Or you weren't lucky at all, you could lose big after a few sessions.

Another popular system called D'Alembert System. The system is based around the theory of Nature seeking equilibrium meaning that if one outcome begins to dominate the results in the present then the future results will be dominated by the opposite. For example if you are betting $1 and you lose you go on to bet $2 than $3 dollars increasing the bet every time until you win. If on the next round you win then you decrease the bet by one unit back to $2 or $1 every time you win. The problem with this method is that if you go on a hot winning streak you're not going to win as much as you would getting lucky on the field, but it is a safer betting system.

Sometimes making smart decision is more important than making smart bets to win at roulette. If you understand the odds, you can use some good working system and sound strategy to manipulate the odds to favor you. Or you will still find yourself win although the odds are against you, which depends on your luck, is totally another issue.
