Choosing a game console can take time and effort. You should first get information on latest game consoles that are sold in the market. This might take days or months to get the right information. And if you are very busy and don't have enough time to check all the latest and most popular game console, then there is only one game console you should know about. This is the Xbox 360. Xbox 360 is produced by Microsoft. It is a successor of the classic Xbox game console. It can compete with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii. Its most popular feature is integrated Xbox Live service that lets you play and compete with online players. With an Xbox 360, you can do almost anything like download arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows and movies.

Xbox 360 is also multimedia capable and supports high definition games, movie rentals and game downloads. You can also buy add-on drive to be able to watch HD DVD movies. You can also find only the best games like Halo, Gears of Wars, Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Left 4 Dead in xBox 360.

It is available in three standard variants: the "Xbox 360 Arcade", the "Xbox 360 Pro" and the "Xbox 360 Elite". The Xbox 360 Core is no longer produced and has been replaced by the Xbox 360 Arcade. The Xbox 360 Arcade costs $199.99. It includes wireless controller, composite AV cable, HDMI 1.2 output, an internal 256MB memory hip and 5 Xbox live Arcade games.

The Xbox 360 Pro is also called the Xbox 360. It has all the features of Xbox 360 Arcade. Rather than the usual composite component cable, it has the hybrid composite component. Its 60 GB Hard Disk Drive is detachable and can store files and games. While, the Xbox 360 Elite is considered to be the most expensive Xbox game console. It has 120 GB Hard Drive, HDMI 1.2 cable, controller and headset. The cost of Xbox 360 Elite recently dropped from $499 to $399.

Just last 2007 Xbox 360 was award by the Game Critics Awards gaining 38 nominations and 11 wins. It reached software attach rate of 7.5 games per console and 7.0 in E.U in March 2008. This is higher than most of its competitors.

The xBox 360 also has a parental control feature that allows you to control anything on the console. You can set a timer to put a limit to users especially to your kids. Thus, your kids will be properly monitored at the same time you can enjoy with your kids.
