For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry: Larry and Chuck are top notch fire fighters and best friends. When Larry fails to change the beneficiaries on his life insurance policy after the unfortunate death of his wife, the only way he can make sure his children benefit if he dies is to remarry. There is no woman he can trust with his kids, so he comes up with the idea of marrying his best friend Chuck.

Across the Bridge: Scotland Yard is closing in on a German business man who is involved with some illegal deals. He goes on the run, and tries to enter the US by way of Mexico. To pull this off he tries to switch identities with another passenger on his way. Stars include Rod Steiger, David Knight, and Maria Landi. (1957 British-Drama)

Above Suspicion: WWII is just starting. American newlyweds honeymooning in Europe are enlisted by the US government to carry out an espionage mission against the Nazis. Can the honeymooners succeed? Richard Thorpe. Joan Crawford, Fred MacMurray, Conrad Veidt, Basil Rathbone and others. (1943 Espionage)

The Night of the Iguana: Trudging story based on Tennessee Williams play. Recovered alcoholic clergyman Burton, a bus-journey guide in Mexico, becomes involved with Kerr, Gardner, and Lyon. Dorothy Jeakins won an Oscar for her costumes. Cast includes Richard Burton, Deborah Kerr, Ava Gardner, Sue Lyon, Skip Ward, Grayson Chamber, and Cyril Delevanti. (118 minutes, 1964)

Rocky V: Rocky has retired from boxing. A brain injury from his last fight makes continuing impossible. He becomes a trainer, and his first pupil, Tommy Gunn, leaves him because he won't move him up quick enough. After winning the title with another trainer, Tommy wants to fight Rocky to gain respect. Since Rocky isn't allowed in the ring, they will have to do it as a street fight.

Cursed: The film starts out entertaining however eventually becomes ridiculous as the nubile young sufferers fight back to become human once more. The bite of the werewolf has left them stricken. Cast includes Christina Ricci, Portia de Rossi, Mya, Shannon Elizabeth, Solar, Daniel Edward Mora, Jesse Eisenberg, and Joshua Jackson. (97 minutes, 2005)

Shadow Magic: In what might be hailed Chinese Paradise, the earliest days of China's film industry are depicted in this tale of a travelling Englishman. His show named "shadow voodoo" marvels and clashes all around as it turns the camcorder's eye on individuals who see themselves and their nation in a totally new way. Admirable view of early-20th-century China and the lifestyle bridging consequence only films appear to accomplish. Cast includes Jared Harris, Xia Yu, Xing Yufei, Liu Peiqi, and Lu Liping. (115 minutes, 2000)

Rentadick: Out of the nether-land between The Goon Show and Monty Python comes this romp written by Python buddies John Cleese and Graham Chapman, spoofing the classic private-detective films. An experimental nerve gas that paralyzes people from the waist down has been stolen, and Rentadick, Inc. is employed to track down the perpetrators. Cast includes Jim Clark, James Booth, Julie Ege, Ronald Fraser, Donald Sinden, Michael Bentine, Richard Briers, and Spike Milligan. (94 minutes, 1972)

They Won't Believe Me: This is about a philanderer who becomes engaged with 3 females, leading to calamity and a tremendous twist ending. Young succeeds in his unsympathetic role; Johnson does marvels with her scenes as his spouse. Cast includes Susan Hayward, Robert Young, Jane Greer, Rita Johnson, Tom Powers, Don Beddoe, and Blunt Ferguson. (95 minutes, 1947)
