UFC 103 is set live stream on mmavines.com on September 19, 2009. It is going to be a great match between Junior Dos Santos versus Mirko Crocop. They are bold veteran MMA fighters with a fairly impressive history in the UFC. Which Dos Santos comes into the engagement with a record of 27 victories, four losses, and zero draws. Crocop comes into the UFC 103 Arena with a record of 12 wins and five losses.
This should be a good battle as their manners match up fairly well with each other. I would give the sharpness to Mirko Crocop just because it appears like he's on more of a successful streak and appears to have more confidence getting to the scrap. Vitor has not fought in the UFC since 2005 and lost to Tito Ortiz in a split conclusion. His previous 5 before that any of discover was another loss to Randy Couture with a TKO stoppage.
Mirko Crocop just recently came back to the UFC after an large since fighting other arrangements and his last actual scrap had a great fight against Matt Lindlin. Vitor knockout Matt in the first round would really boost his confidence in his fight against Junior Dos Santos.
I think that Junior Dos Santos may be on the down side of his career. He recently had a solid engagement against Vanderlei Silva in which Junior Dos Santos actually defeated Silva by decision. Even though he won, I think he looked a little bit sloppy in his operation. We'll have to discover how Junior Dos Santos does in this scrap. Needless to say, he still has the skills to take care of Belfort, but I think that Belfort will end up the victor.
Some of the other conflicts on the UFC 103 live stream will be:
Junior Dos Santos versus Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic Martin Kampmann vs. Mike Swick Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg Hermes Franca vs. Tyson Griffin Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller Jim Miller vs. Steve Lopez Rafaello Oliveira Vs. Nik Lentz Paul Daley vs. Brian Foster Tomasz Drwal vs. Drew McFedries Jason Brilz vs. Eliot Marshall Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Igor Pokrajac Rafael dos Anjos vs. Rob Emerson
On different cards, Mike Swick has been forced out of UFC 103 on September 19, 2009, due to a concussion he got when he was sparring this last week. He put down on his back of his head and neck and got a pretty good concussion. It looks like EliteXC scrapper Paul Daley will replace Swick in the struggle against Martin Kampman. Martin Kampman is on a roll of late and looks good against any of the fighters at 170. Paul Daley said I have a handful getting from elite XC to the UFC.
The undercard of Dos Santos vs Crocop should be a good scrap. Pro-cop has fallen to the wayside since he came over from Pride. In fact in his last engagement, he only won because he poked his opponent in the eye and assaulted before the ref could even stop the battle. Obviously the ref didn't discover the eye poke. Most spiders though it typically stopped when they poke someone in the eye, but not Crocop. He attacked Al-Turka when he couldn't even see. What a cheap combatant Crocop is. I think he was just so determined for a win that he didn't care whether he you want in a cheap fashion or not. I hope he gets his face wiped on the mat by Dos Santos.
